Tree Service in Chandler Heights, AZ
Tree care for Chandler Heights acreage, citrus and pecans, from neighbors in Gilbert.
Chandler Heights, in the southeast corner of the Valley where Chandler, Gilbert and Queen Creek meet, still has a rural feel. Larger lots, horse properties, long driveways and old citrus and pecan trees are part of what makes the area special, alongside newer custom homes and subdivisions. Trees here often have more room to grow, and many have grown big.

Trees and Conditions in Chandler Heights
Big Trees on Big Lots
With more space and often more water, trees on Chandler Heights properties can grow very large. Eucalyptus, pine, mesquite, sissoo and pecan can reach sizes that call for professional equipment.
Irrigated Acreage
Some properties use flood irrigation, which can produce large, shallow-rooted trees. Those trees are more likely to lean or fail in monsoon winds, so regular inspection and weight reduction pruning matter.
Horse Properties
Dead limbs over paddocks, arenas and trails are a hazard for horses and riders. Clearance pruning and deadwood removal keep everyone safe.
Agricultural Heritage
Old citrus and pecan trees connect the area to its farming past. With the right care, many can stay productive and safe for years.
Tree Services for Chandler Heights Properties
Tree trimming and pruning. We remove deadwood, thin dense canopies for wind, raise limbs for clearance and shape trees to ISA standards. We never top trees.
Tree removal. We safely remove dead, hazardous and unwanted trees of all sizes, including large trees near homes, barns and arenas.
Crane-assisted removal. For big trees in tight spots or over structures and pools, a crane lets us remove sections safely and cleanly.
Clearance pruning. We keep long driveways, gates, arenas and fence lines clear for vehicles, trailers and horses.
Citrus and pecan care. Older citrus and pecan trees need selective pruning to stay healthy, productive and safe. We prune citrus lightly to avoid sunburn, and remove deadwood and weak limbs from large pecans.
Stump grinding below grade, with cleanup or chips left for mulch.
Sissoo removal. Sissoos are common and their roots can damage pools, wells, irrigation and plumbing. We remove them and address the stump.
Storm cleanup. We clear fallen trees and broken limbs after monsoon storms and make damaged trees safe.
Arborist consultations and fertilization. An ISA Certified Arborist can diagnose declining trees and recommend treatment or deep root fertilization.
Randy was good at explaining what he saw about the health of our trees and course of action. He also volunteered tips how to take care of some other trees on our property.
We had the bio-boost treatment to help a struggling ash tree and to also boost some orange trees that we planted last year. He was also a good natured and helpful person also volunteering some tips about care of our orange trees. The bio-boost is injected into the ground with a probe. Note: it may result in puncturing underground irrigation if unlucky. The probe poked a clean hole into our in-ground PVC irrigation lateral that I paid someone to come repair.
Another crew came to trim dead branches from our large tree and remove some stumps with a grinder. I thought they would just grind and leave holes. I was pleased that they cleaned up the debris, filled the holes, and covered with the surrounding gravel. Where there had been stumps, I could hardly tell there had been anything there before at all. Will was the crew's lead person who spoke with me during their time in our yard. I also found him to be good at explaining and I felt like he actually did care about the quality of work being done. I hope that Heartwood will reward him and the others who came with him.
